You are our Strength

Lord God, you are our strength.
Hold our hand  in our weakness and teach our hearts to fly.
With you, there’s nothing to fear,
nothing to worry about.
Hold us tight in Your embrace,
so that we can be stronger than the challenges in our lives…

Take some Time

to SMILE when you're sad;
to REST when you're tired;
to LOVE when you're feeling empty
and to LET GO when you need to.

Take some time for yourself,
and always take time to PRAY, it works ^__^

God's Answer through You

when you find yourself
in the position to help someone
BE HAPPY AND GLAD
because GOD IS ANSWERING that person's prayer through you.

our purpose on earth is not to get lost in the dark
but to be a light to others
so that they may find their way
THROUGH US!

HE SAVES

(Message from the SMS)

Jesus and Satan competed on the computer.
They started typing.
They did every known job, reports, emails, SMS, attachments
and downloads.

But before the time was up,
lightning
thunder
rain
and blackout came!

Satan cursed.

Jesus just sighed.

When electricity was back,
Satan lost every single thing he had done.

But Jesus started printing all his files.

Satan shouted,
"YOU CHEATED!"

Jesus just smiled.

Coz he did what He always do...

HE SAVES!

Stress

More from the EMail
From: "Nestor Bustillo"

A lecturer when explaining stress management to an audience, raised a glass of water and asked 'How heavy is this glass of water?'

Answers called out ranged from 20g to 500g.

The lecturer replied, 'The absolute weight doesn't matter. It depends on how long you try to hold it. If I hold it for a minute, that's not a problem. If I hold it for an hour, I'll have an ache in my right arm. If I hold it for a day, you'll have to call an ambulance. In each case, it's the same weight, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes.'

He continued, 'And that's the way it is with stress management. If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later, as the burden becomes increasingly heavy, we won't be able to carry on. '

'As with the glass of water, you have to put it down for a while and rest before holding it again. When we're refreshed, we can carry on with the burden.'

'So, before you return home tonight, put the burden of work down . Don't carry it home. You can pick it up tomorrow. Whatever burdens you're carrying now, let them down for a moment if you can.'

So, my friend, Put down anything that may be a burden to you right now. Don't pick it up again until after you've rested a while.

Here are some great ways of dealing with the burdens of life:
* Accept that some days you're the pigeon, and some days you're the statue.
* Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them.
* Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it.
* Drive carefully. It's not only cars that can be recalled by their maker.
* If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.
* If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
* It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply be kind to others.
* Never put both feet in your mouth at the same time , because then you won't have a leg to stand on.
* Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance.
* Since it's the early worm that gets eaten by the bird, sleep late.
* The second mouse gets the cheese.
* When everything's coming your way, you're in the wrong lane.
* Birthdays are good for you. The more you have, the longer you live.
* You may be only one person in the world, but you may also b e the world to one person.
* Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.
* We could learn a lot from crayons... Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.
*A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour. €

Have an awesome day and know that someone has thought about you today.. I did.

There is nothing that can happen today that God and I can't handle!

TOUCHSTONE HILLS

Dear Friend,

I am happy to announce that my book

TOUCHSTONE HILLS

Based on a True Story

is now available online. It is a story about the youth, for the youth, based on actual events that transpired in my own life. The making of this book is a miracle by itself, along with other miraculous circumstances behind the preparation of this book

Thanks,
Carol delos Santos

The untold story of hundreds of young people in the Philippines........ portrayed through the eyes of a nineteen-year-old girl.

The story of Daphne --- an officer of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), UP student, born and raised in traditional religious beliefs, and her awakening moments to the awesome reality of God.

================================================================
'...Do you have any idea what a touchstone really is? It's pretty interesting, you know. A touchstone is a siliceous rock that is used to test the purity of gold. It's an ordinary-looking rock with a noble purpose --- to ensure purity --- just as our Touchstone Hills has become testing ground for the pureness of our hearts, if you see what I mean,' she said.

'That is interesting,' I muttered.

'And that's not all,' she went on with much enthusiasm. 'The word touchstone was also used in Shakepeare's play 'As You Like It'. It referred to a tradition among early Christians --- an attitude of willingness to look foolish in order to achieve things that are good and worthwhile.'

'How very appropriate,' I said. 'Because we did look foolish to a lot of people. But I don't see how it could've achieved anything good.... In the corporate world, this would have been like a full-blown image crisis, a public relations catastrophe.'

Coffee, cream and sugar differ in taste.
So are friends - each has different attitudes,

why worry

Many of today's worries
are like puddles

tomorrow
they will have evaporated.
